🌿 551 Mega Tree Plantation Drive – Harela Festival 🌿 On the auspicious occasion of the Harela Festival, Rotary Club Hardwar, in association with the 40th Battalion PAC, Haridwar, successfully organized the 551 Mega Tree Plantation Drive. This marked the club’s first environmental project in celebration of Uttarakhand’s Harela Festival. The event was graced by Chief Guest IPS Shri Ayush Agrawal, Commandant, 40th Battalion PAC. Rotary Club Haridwar was proudly represented by President Dr. Nilamadhab Sahu, Secretary Dharmendra Singh Mandata, Vice President Gangadhar Nayak, Tree Plantation Chairman Rtn. B. M. Gupta, and Rotarians Binit Singhal, Harendra nath ,Piyush Mittal, and Arvind Singh Rajoura. Officers, trainers, and personnel of the 40th Battalion PAC enthusiastically participated, making the drive a grand success. A total of 551 saplings were planted, including Mango, Amla (Indian Gooseberry), Harad, Ber (Indian Jujube), Lemon, Chikoo (Sapodilla), Arjun, Kachnar, Amaltas (Golden Shower Tree), and several other native tree species, contributing to a greener and healthier future.
